The Department of Physics is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the fields of Applied & Adaptive Optics, Solid State Physics, Statistical Physics & Nonlinear Dynamics, Atomic & Molecular Physics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information & Quantum Technologies. With this expertise, the department is progressing towards establishing a centre for excellence in Quantum Technologies. The department offers academic programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, fostering a vibrant learning environment that prepares students for careers in academia and industry, including the space start-up sector.
