  1. Network with top tier companies in core Engineering/ Software/Finance & Banking / consulting sectors in India and abroad for hiring from IIST.
  2. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of students and provide / arrange appropriate training programs to improve their performance in placements.
  3. Facilitate smooth conduct of internship/ placement drives by industries at IIST year-round.
  4. Understand the aspirations of IIST students and work towards fulfilling their career goals.
  5. Provide adequate exposure to IIS

Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, Pro Vice Chancellor, IIST, was honored to attend the 'At Home' reception hosted by the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations. This event, a traditional and significant part of Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations, is a formal reception hosted by the Honourable President of India. It brings together a diverse group of dignitaries, including high-ranking government officials, military leaders, diplomats, and prominent citizens, to commemorate the occasion.
