Recognition for excellence in Official Language Hindi Implementation
The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiamala, has been honored with prestigious accolades by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Office – 2, for its exemplary efforts in promoting the Official Language Hindi. IIST secured the First Prize for the year 2024–25 and the Third Prize for the year 2023–24 under Category–I for outstanding performance in the implementation of Official Language Hindi. The institute’s Hindi House Journal, ‘Antariksh Dhaaraayein’, was awarded the Fourth Position among the best Hindi journals for both years 2024–25 and 2023–24. Smt. Remya C L, Personal Secretary, Administration, received the Third Prize under the Special Incentive Scheme for her commendable contribution in executing official work in Hindi. This marks a significant milestone as IIST, Valiamala has won the First Prize for the first time, distinguishing itself among 50 Central Government offices in Thiruvananthapuram under TOLIC (Office 2). The prize distribution ceremony was held at OROP Hall, Office of the Accountant General, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
