Ms. Arya S. Nair, Research Scholar in the Department of Chemistry, pursuing Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. K. Y. Sandhya, has been awarded the Best Poster Presentation for her research titled "Physiological-Level Detection of the Cardiovascular Biomarker Homocysteine Using a Graphene–MoS₂ Electrochemical Sensor: From Lab-Scale to Point-of-Care Testing" at the T-RIC X Impact Research Conclave & ANRF Grantee Meet held on 16-17 July 2026 at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Keralam. The study demonstrates the potential of graphene-based electrochemical sensors for rapid, sensitive, and cost-effective detection of cardiovascular biomarkers, with future applications in point-of-care diagnostics.
