Mr. Mohamed Armoon Shaliq, a final-year MTech student in Quantum Technology, has been awarded the Best Poster Award for his research work titled “High-Speed Quantum Noise Profiling” at the National Conference on Recent Trends in Materials Science and Technology (NCMST 2025). The conference was organized by the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), in association with the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI), Trivandrum Chapter, and was held from 18–20 December 2025. The work was co-authored by Mr. Arun Biju and Dr. Ashok Kumar, and the research was carried out in the Quantum Optical Technology Laboratory, Department of Physics, IIST. The study highlights innovative advances in high-speed quantum noise measurement and profiling techniques.
