Introduction

The Department of Mathematics, IIST, has been conducting "Young Talent Nurture" (YTN) program in different levels since 2013. The aim of the program is to nurture young mathematical talents through promotion of pathological questioning, logical and critical thinking, and problem solving. This summer program is continuation of the second level of YTN program conducted in 2018. This year YTN program will be conducted in its third level targeting the students who have completed 3rd year/ 6th semester of B.Sc./B.Tech./Integrated M.Sc. during 20th May - 1st June 2019. We hope that the programme will help the students to understand the fundamentals of Mathematics, and overall serve the basic needs to pursue higher studies in Mathematics.
