As part of World Space Week 2026, a Science and Technology Exposure Visit was organized for 8 M.Sc. Physics/Chemistry students and 2 Faculty members from ITM College of Arts and Science at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology on 08 October 2026. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to gain exposure to IIST’s academic and research activities through interaction with faculty and research scholars, and visits to the Quantum Optical Technology Lab, STIC Lab, X-Ray Diffractometer Lab, Space Biology Lab, and Satellite Ground Station. The programme offered valuable insights into advanced scientific instrumentation, space science and technology, satellite operations, and ongoing research at IIST, inspiring students to explore higher education and career opportunities in science and space technology.
