Induction programme for UG students and PhD scholars was inaugurated by Dr. B. N. Suresh, Hon. Chancellor, IIST, on 28.07.2025 at 10.00 am. Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, Pro Vice Chancellor, welcomed the gathering and briefed them about the induction programme (28.7.2025 - 9.8.2025) and the salient features of the academic programs and research at IIST. Prof. Dipankar Banerjee, Vice Chancellor, IIST, joined in online mode to welcome the students and parents to the campus. He promised to meet the student on the 29th. Dr. B. N. Suresh delivered the inaugural address and inspired the new students, advising them to contribute to the country's space programmes. Prof. A Chandrasekar, (Dean R&D) and Prof. Raju K.
