Special colloquium on the occasion of International Day of Women and Girls in Science -2026

IIST is celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. As part of this occasion, a special colloquium has been arranged. Dr. Sudeshna Sinha, FASc, FNA, FTWAS, JC Bose National Fellow, and Professor, Department of Physical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, India, is invited as the Chief Guest of the programme who shall deliver a special colloquium on the topic: “Harnessing Chaos”. This celebration not only recognizes the contributions of women and girls in science but also inspires future generations to pursue scientific inquiry and innovation.
