On 28 October 2026, the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, hosted 23 M.Sc. Chemistry students and two faculty members from Mar Ivanios College as part of a Science and Technology Exposure Visit.

The programme included an introductory video about IIST, interactions with faculty members and research scholars, and visits to the X-Ray Diffractometer, Material Characterization, Nanoscience, and ChemiSens Laboratories, followed by a visit to the Satellite Ground Station. The students also visited the IIST Library and explored its available tools and resources.

The visit provided students with valuable exposure to advanced research facilities and the interdisciplinary applications of chemistry, materials science, and space technology.
