A Science and Technology Exposure Visit was organised for The School of Good Shepherd at IIST on 09 September 2026. A total of 106 Class XI students accompanied by 4 volunteers participated in the visit.

The programme commenced with a welcome address and video presentation, followed by an interaction with the Pro Vice-Chancellor and faculty members. The students were divided into three groups and visited the Satellite Ground Station, Optics Lab, Virtual Reality Lab, Flight Mechanics Lab, Geology Lab, and Atomic and Molecular Physics Lab.

The visit provided the students with an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to space technology, scientific research and advanced laboratory facilities at IIST, encouraging their interest in science and technology.
