The IEEE Kerala Section GRSS Chapter Student Branch and the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) are jointly organizing a collaborative event titled “Pixels4Earth: Earth Observation for Environmental Sustainability” in observance of World Environment Day (June 5), World Ocean Day (June 8), and the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought (June 17).On 17 June 2026, Renjan Mathew Varghese, State Director, WWF-India Kerala State Office, delivered a talk on “Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future”. During the event, prizes and certificates were distributed to students for the poster design competition held for school students. The e-certificates and e-prizes are awarded for the Digital Poster Design Competition conducted for college students.
