A two day Hindi Technical Seminar on the topic ‘Recent Advances In Space Science And Technology’ was organized in IIST on 30th and 31st October, 2018 in collaboration with VSSC, LPSC, IPRC, IISU and APEP. During this seminar, an official language session was also conducted on the topic 'Changing Dimensions  of Official Language Hindi'. Dr. B. N. Suresh, Honourable Chancellor, IIST delivered the inaugural address and Shri. M. V. Dhekane, Professor Satish Dhawan Professor, IIST delivered  the keynote address of the technical session of the seminar. Professor B. Y. Lalitamba, Hindi scholar and member of Joint Hindi Advisory Committee for DOS and DAE gave the invited talk. A total of 36 articles from VSSC, LPSC, IPRC, IISU, APEP and IIST were presented during the two-day seminar which included six articles from IIST. Four technical sessions and one official language session were held. Prizes were given to the best paper presenters of both Hindi speaking and Non Hindi-speaking categories of each session. All the articles were well condensed, organized and presented effectively. The seminar deliberated on very informative topics and it was very interactive, which benefitted all the participants enormously.
