Prof. Gin Jose, Chair in Functional Materials at the University of Leeds, UK, visited IIST, and delivered a lecture titled “Femtosecond Pulsed Laser Deposition and Doping for Integrated Optics and Functional Surfaces.” He engaged in discussions with faculty members and students involved in related areas of research during his stay. A distinguished materials scientist, Prof. Jose has also mentored several start-ups.
