Exploring the Cosmos: From Images to Stellar Classification is a two-day astrophysics workshop. Led by Prof. Sarita Vig from IIST, the workshop will introduce participants to hands-on analysis of real observational data. The experience will combine practical data analysis with discussions on how astronomers decode information from the incoming light. The workshop will also feature a stargazing session, offering participants an opportunity to connect what they learn during the sessions with the night sky. The programme will take place on October 10–11 at IISER Thiruvananthapuram.
