On September 22, 2026, IIST is organizing a cultural night of Dhrupad featuring Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar, Padma Shree awardee, in association with SPIC MACAY. SPIC MACAY is a non-profit, voluntary movement bringing Indian & World heritage to Schools & Colleges across India. Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar is one of India’s foremost exponents of the Dagar tradition of Dhrupad. He is accompanied on stage by Pt. Mohan Shyam Sharma (Pakhawaj) and Tanpura Artists, Shri. Arvindan Srinivasan and Shri. Gokul K. P.
