It is a series of training programmes for the year 2026 – 2027, reaching out to participants from BSF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, and IB officials. This builds on a series of six training programmes conducted by the Department of Earth and Space Sciences through September 2025 – March 2026, which were well received by participants. Based on their feedback and request for a wider range of topics, this year's programme has been expanded into a joint effort with the Avionics and Physics Departments. In this first session, two parallel courses of the Basic Course on Remote Sensing by Earth Space Science and Python Programming by Avionics. The participants will be provided with both geospatial and computational skills through theoretical and hands-on sessions.
