APEX- the Student Chapter of Aeronautical Society of India

The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), a leading professional body in the field of aeronautics and aerospace, continues its efforts to nurture young talent through Student Chapters across premier institutions. On 07 May 2026, the twelfth AeSI Student Chapter was inaugurated at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). The chapter, named “APEX,” was inaugurated by Prof Kuruvilla Joseph, Distinguished Professor & Pro Vice Chancellor in the presence of Ms. Beena A.P., Chairperson, and Mr. Dhamodaran P., Member Secretary of AeSI Thiruvananthapuram Chapter. The event was attended by around 75 participants, including UG, PG, PhD students, and faculty members.
