20th Foundation Day

Institute is celebrating its 20th Foundation Day on 14th September 2026. The program scheduled at 1400 hrs at Multipurpose hall in SAC will kick off a year long celebration. The function will be blessed by the presence of Dr. G Madhavan Nair, Padma Vibhushan Awardee and our Founding Chairman, IIST Board of Management.
About the Speaker
The Foundation Day lecture will be delivered by Dr. Annapurni Subramaniam, Director, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru on the topic ‘Understanding the universe: Fom Binary Stars to Galaxies , from AstroSat to the Telescopes of Tomorrow’
