Activities

"Photo of the Week" is our themed challenge where members submit their best shot for a chance at campus-wide recognition. Each week has a random theme, and the team picks the top three submissions to feature on campus TV screens and the ShutterSpace Instagram. The winner gains ultimate bragging rights, with their work printed on the mess noticeboard and used as the group's profile picture. It's a great way to spark creativity and share your perspective with the whole college!

Photowalks are our weekend outings: we take our cameras and set off during the golden hours of morning or evening. We explore nearby nature and architecture, capturing how changing light transforms a scene. More than a shoot, these walks are hands-on, collaborative learning—members of every skill level shoot together, swap tips, try new techniques, and teach each other photography as they go.

At ShutterSpace, our work goes well beyond our own projects, we act as the campus's visual backbone, documenting and amplifying the events of nearly every other club. Much of our work involves partnering directly with student organizations to supply photography, videography, and graphic design support for their initiatives. This constant, hands-on involvement makes us central to the college ecosystem, letting members network with diverse campus groups, adapt their skills to varied events, and capture our student community's vibrant energy.
