The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, will be participating in the Mini DISHA 2025 Career Expo, organized by the Department of General Education, Higher Secondary Wing, Career Guidance & Adolescent Counselling (CG & AC) Cell. The event will be held on 19th and 20th September 2025 at
Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.

Mini DISHA is a student-centric career guidance initiative aimed at Plus One and Plus Two students across Kerala, helping them explore higher education and career opportunities. The program brings together premier academic and research institutions to interact with students through exhibitions, seminars, and career awareness sessions.

At this year’s Mini DISHA, IIST will set up stalls showcasing the institute’s unique academic programs, research opportunities, and career pathways in space science, technology, and allied fields. Faculty and student representatives will interact with participants, highlighting how IIST nurtures future scientists, engineers, and technologists for the nation’s space programme. Through this participation, IIST aims to inspire students to pursue their passion in science, engineering, and space research, and to provide clear guidance on admission procedures, academic life, and the exciting career avenues available after graduating from IIST.
